How do I place an Order?

How should I transport my cake?

All cakes should be on a completely flat surface – the front passenger side floor is best with the air-conditioning on. Please keep your cake refrigerated and allow it to come to room temperature by taking it out of the fridge 1-2 hours before serving.

How far in advance do I need to order?

The sooner the better! Although, in order to secure your booking a minimum of 4 days is required.

Do you use fondant?

At Cakes by Missy all cakes and cupcakes are iced with Swiss meringue buttercream, American buttercream or ganache. Fondant may be used to decorate some items upon request.

What if I am after something that is not listed on your website?

Please do not hesitate to contact us. We would love to accomodate to any of your sweet desires.

Do I need to pay upfront?

Cakes by Missy requires a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking in order to secure the date. 

Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver to the Sydney Northern Beaches and surrounding suburbs. Delivery comes at an extra cost and is dependant on the location of the event. Please ask for a quote when enquiring. 

Do you make any gluten free, dairy free cakes?

No, unfortunately we do not make any dairy free cakes. Yes, gluten free options are available – please do not hesitate to ask!

Can I change my order once it has been placed?

Yes, an order may be changed with up to 4 days notice. Please email us.
